At Ros the Gardener I create gardens the way nature meant them to be, but only I ask my clients for their preferences first. My gardens are creative, imaginative and unique while also focusing on the needs of the plant life.

Union Street Slope | Apr 2015 | During our consultation my customer decided on a pink garden. I provided different shades of pink azalea, hydrangea, tulips, hyacinths, hellebore, phlox, columbine and pachysandra, too. The garden was on a slope; it was a challenge to plant there. I chose plants for my design whose roots would help hold the soil and keep it from eroding. | $2k | Brooklyn, NY
Tyrannosaurus Cedar | Oct 2014 | 3 front yard garden areas : We began with a consultation and chose possibilities for shrubs and small trees. After purchasing them I had them delivered; then I planted them. This also included my design work, soil amendment, addition of spring flowering bulbs. | $2k | Brooklyn, NY
Ocean Parkway Front Yard | Aug 2014 | During our consultation we decided to renovate the front yard. I added a curved cobblestone border and assorted easy care/drought tolerant perennials. After pruning the existing boxwood hedge and Japanese maple I added a curved euounymus hedge and coral bells, sedum, hellebore, calladium and bark nuggets. | $1k | Brooklyn, NY
Corvette's Garden | Jun 2014 | After a brief consultation I added annual and perennial plants to an existing backyard garden. Since it's been very rainy I included Japanese Painted Fern and Coral Bells which love all the moisture. Cost includes soil amendment, plants, consultation, design, delivery, labor. | $550 | Brooklyn, NY
Manhattan backyard | May 2014 | This is a garden that I've been maintaining on a monthly basis, adding perennial flowering shrubs, annual flowers, amending/fertilizing the soil organically. This included design, plants and soil additives, labor and delivery. The weather this year has been challenging but I chose plants that should be able to persevere. | $3k | Manhattan, NY
YMCA Rooftop Garden | Apr 2014 | 4 planters with boxwood, ivy, geranium, annual flowers | $2k | Brooklyn, NY |
