HR Home Services, INC. was hired to re-hook up a stove top, install disposer, hook up plumbing and faucet after new counter top was installed. He arrived around 8 am. He asked for my help with removing and installing cabinet drawers, holding the faucet and disposer during installation. I was called to come and help him four times. When he was finished with the job around 1 pm, I tried the dishwasher and it didn't work. There was a beeping sound on the dishwasher. He told me that the sound was normal and he left. After a few more attempts, the dishwasher did not work, so I called him. I also told him that the new plumbing was leaking. He returned and found that he did not turn on the water to the dishwasher. He was unable to fix the leak and went to the store to purchase more new pipe. He reinstalled the new pipe but the leak continued. Then, he used a large amount of glue to patch the leak. I asked if this was standard and he told me that it was. He told me that the glue needed to dry and the leak would be gone. He asked us to let the glue dry until 9 pm. At 9 pm we used the sink, the leak was still there. We called him at 9 pm and left a message. He did not return the call. We called him in the morning before work and left a message. We decided to call a licensed plumber due to the poor work quality of the plumbing work. The plumber told us that the work was not appropriate. The cold and hot water connection was reversed and he would have to use a special tool to save the pipe. The large amount of glue was not a permanent fix. Please do not use 5R Home Service.
