House Cleaning Service - Burien, WA

For the last 3 years, I have cleaned 150+ houses as an independent contractor for 2 cleaning agencies. They charge clients $35-$40/hour and pay me half. Now I have decided to go out on my own and avoid the middle man. The non-competition agreements I signed prevent me from soliciting my existing clients. So I need to start from scratch and build up my own clientele. I try to live up to my company name "Superior" by providing clients with high quality work at a lower price. I can tout my own horn about how good I am. But the only way you'll know if I'm really good or not is to try me. To encourage this, I charge only $20/hour for the first time cleaning. (This price does NOT apply to non-recurring cleanings, move-in/out cleanings and cleanings less than 4 hours.) For any subsequent cleanings, my regular rate of $25/hour will apply. What I like best about house cleaning is the physical exercise I get. Therefore, I prefer physically demanding jobs that require a lot of mopping, vacuuming and scrubbing. I especially like move-outs/move-ins and really dirty houses. On the other hand, jobs that require doing LOTS of laundry, making beds and dusting around numerous bric-a-bric items don't interest me. I do NOT exclusively use non-toxic products. Some are--Simple Green for all- purpose cleaning, Vinegar/water for bare floors and Murphy"s Wood Oil Soap for hardwood floors. But some aren't--toilet bowl cleaner, ammonia window cleaner, Comet , heavy duty degreaser, mineral oil for stainless steel, oven cleaner, furniture polish, glass stove top cleaner. But I will be happy to use any non-toxic products you provide me. I live near Sea-Tac Airport and prefer jobs within a 15-mile radius of 98168, but will travel further for jobs that are at least 5 hours duration. My minimum cleaning time is 3.0 hours. After that, I bill by the 1/4 hour. However, as a courtesy, if the job goes over the booked time, the first 15 minutes are free. If you authorize me to continue beyond that, then the 1/4 hour charge will begin. I do NOT estimate jobs over the phone. How long your house will take depends on a lot of things. When I get to the job, I can give you a rough estimate of how much time will be required. But even that can turn out to be wrong. However, as a rough guide, I can say that most houses under 1000 square feet take 3 hours or less,1000-1500 take 3-4 hours, 1500-2000 take 3.5-4.5 hours, 2000-2500 take 4.5-5.5 hours, 2500-3000 take 5.5-6.5 hours , 3000-3500 take 6.5-7.5 hours, 3500-4000 take 7.5-8.5 . This is for a regular cleaning. If you are a perfectionist and want an extra-extra good job, this takes 25-50% more time. The job estimates above do NOT include extras like cleaning the insides of ovens, refrigerators and cabinets; pulling the stove/refrigerator out from the wall and cleaning the vacated space; hand washing (not dusting) of blinds; scrubbing (not mopping) of large floor areas; cleaning ALL the windows, doors and walls; cleaning sliding window/door tracks; hand cleaning of ALL baseboards; spider web removal through out the house; doing laundry or making beds; washing LOTS of cups, dishes and cook ware. Move-out/move-in jobs, which include many of the above extras, typically take 50-100% more time than regular cleanings. Some other things to note: (1) I prefer you to contact me by email. I do NOT answer phone calls/texts while working. (2) My regular cleaning hours are M-F 9:00-7:00 and Sat-Sun 10:00-6:00. I will stay later for big jobs. (3) I accept payment by cash, check and Paypal (4) If I have to pay for parking, you need to reimburse me. (5) I will call and email you the day before to remind you of the appointment. (6) If you cancel with less than 5 hours advance notice, there is a $25 charge. (7) If I arrive at your house but cannot clean because no one is there or no key was left or because you want to cancel, then the charge is $50.

Great clean! He was 20 min. Early, very professional, and did a wonderful job on the floors, couch, and carpets! Got all the dirt and dust! Very affordable, and very friendly. I will be using him again definitely

We used Superior for a rental home move out cleaning. I found Allen to be very responsive, polite, prompt and thorough in his work. Allen communicated very effectively during scheduling and offered quick availability. During the cleaning day, Allen arrived early and began unloading supplies. Once inside, he did an outstanding job of walking through the house and asking questions to understand the level of cleaning needed and establish expectations on both ends. The work was excellent and I feel that thanks to Allen, the home was in excellent move out condition. We received word from the owners that we'll be receiving our full deposit back. I highly recommend using Superior for your cleaning needs.

Allen cleaned my house every 2 weeks in Granite Falls for about 1 year in 2013-2014 before he moved to south Seattle. I was very happy with his work. I am something of a perfectionist, and after he learned exactly how I wanted things done, he did them to my standards. He was always on time, had all the needed equipment/supplies, and came ready to work. If I had any special requests, he was always happy to accommodate me. He was a hard worker and I would recommend him to anyone who needed a good cleaner.
