Steelman Electrical has been operating since 2012. I have been contracting electric services out since 2009. I've learned my trade by working in partnership with other central Texas electric companies. I have grown up in the construction industry. My grandfather owned his own company and ever since I can remember I was out on the job site helping. With the first hand experience and the two generations of construction knowledge passed down to me I'm able to run Steelman Electrical above the expectations of other construction companies. Growing up on a ranch baptized me into a hard work ethic and a great sense of responsibility. I will treat you with the respect you deserve and good ol'e southern hospitality. I will walk you though the entire electrical experience step by step. I will thoroughly discuss with you your options and will not talk you into anything you do not want to do. I work for you, not the other way around. So give Steelman Electrical a call for all your electric needs.

Montecito Apartment Homes | Nov 2014 | This project was mainly the upgrade of new electrical fixtures, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and new appliances. I also installed new cabinet doors and drawers. The bathroom vanity cabinet called for new mirrors to be hung. the kitchen had new garbage disposals and sink fixtures that I installed as well. in the kitchen and bathroom I fabricated and installed the back splashes. The guts to the toilet was replaced and the bathroom sinks where sealed and cocked as well. A door was installed along with the hardware that goes along with it. All appliances that needed new electric whips where installed as well. New dishwashers where installed as well along with the hoses. | $4k | Austin, TX
Garage Workshop for Cars | Oct 2014 | This metal building was built so the owner could easily work on and restore cars. I started this project by running metal EMT or conduit to protect the 6 and 12 gauge wires that I was using for this garage. I used the 6 gauge wire for the 220 volt outlets. This was being used for the 30 amp lift and the 50 amp welder. The rest was 120 volt outlets and light fixtures. These where ran with 12 gauge wire. I used a total of 300 foot of 3/4inch conduit and then 510 foot of 1/2inch conduit. I used two 220 volt outlets and then, six 120 volt outlets. The garage called for eight, 4 foot dual light florescent ceiling light fixtures to laminate the area nicely. On the outside, a single photo cell light was installed right above the door for security measures. The overhead lights are operated by the two switches I put in directly by the door. I ran four underground wires from the main panel to a separate garage panel that I installed in the garage. All the outlets and light fixtures have their own designated breaker according to their amperage. This separate breaker box that I installed also allows the owner of the garage to turn everything off with a simple switch of one breaker. I had to dig a three foot deep trench that was 90 feet long from the outside meter/breaker box to the garage breaker box. In this trench we had to run 1 1/2inch PVC conduit then, pull 1/0 gauge wire through the conduit from panel to panel. Basically to run 100 amps from the main breaker box to the garage breaker box. | $4k | Bastrop, TX
La Tranquila Ranch | Jan 2015 | I was the third electrician and plumber to come on to this project. It was very unorganized and nothing was being build or constructed to pass code. lets just say nothing was up to my standards or expectations. I took me the fist week just to get the current construction up to code and my standards. I will start with the plumbing. I have several pipes that needed to be repaired and moved to where they had a 1/4inch fall along with proper fittings like pressure fitting being in the right place. I also had to install several shut off valves along with angle stops in the bathrooms and kitchen. The electrical had many problems. I had to run many yards of new conduit and wire for the new light fixtures and outside flood lights that had nothing but aluminum wire connections. I had a good time meeting the owner and discussing his visions and expectations for the upcoming houses. I just wanted his dream to come true and from his feedback I'm pretty sure it was safe to say "Mission Accomplished". | $6k | Bastrop, TX
