Concrete Countertops And Cabinetry Painting | Nov 2014 | Concrete overlay applied over Formica. Countertops were sealed using an ultra violet cured urethane and was then honed to a buttery soft feel and sheen. The countertop was buffed to a semi gloss sheen. This method allows a seamless finish over any size or shaped countertop and provides an extremely durable surface. The sealer used is a 100% solids material and once cured will withstand staining from wine, mustard, coffee, dyes, and other staining materials. The finish is extremely acid and scratch resistant and will not re-emulsify from exposure to solvents like acetone, denatured alcohol, or lacquer thinner. The Cabinets were sanded down to MDF and primed using Sherwin Williams oil base pro block primer. After all the required steps were completed we chose to spray the cabinets with a pre-catalyzed epoxy due to its high peel resistance and long term durability. Cabinets are open and closed many times through out the day and requires using extremely durable products to maintain a nice finish. | $5k | Eagle, ID
Venetian Plaster | Jun 2014 | 2 color Venetian Plaster common area. We used a burnt orange color and filled with a very neutral cream color. The walls were sanded with a fine sand paper and burnished with a stainless steel trowel. | $1k | Eagle, ID
Exterior Surface Restoration | Jun 2014 | This house had severe surface peeling and required a great deal of prep work. We pressure washed the surface initially to help loosen some of the peeling paint. After the house had dried we scraped and sanded all of the peeling areas as needed. The house was rinsed another time to remove any dust. The house was first spot primed using Sherwin Williams Peel Block to help prevent further peeling and to "glue" down the feathered edges. The house was then sprayed with a thin coat of Sherwin Williams Oil Base Pro Block primer to ensure a good product bond as the house was coated previously with an oil base paint. We sprayed the body of the house and brushed the facia and trim using Sherwin Williams Super Paint. | $3k | Waterbury, CT
Concrete Countertops | Mar 2014 | Here are some concrete countertops installed over existing Formica countertops. This process allows a seamless finish no matter what shape or size your existing countertop is. The customer really liked the rustic feel of concrete so we decided to go with a stained finish to just enhance the surface and not entirely hide the fact that it was concrete. These countertops were sealed using a revolutionary ultra violet cured urethane that cures almost instantly. The sealer was honed to a buttery soft feel and a soft satin sheen. | $6k | Waterbury, CT
Interior Faux Painting | May 2013 | This was an apple green faux accent wall completed by IDSC. We applied the paint in small sections and ragged areas off with different textured rags and sea sponges | $345 | Eagle, ID
Concrete Countertops | Jul 2012 | This is a cast in place concrete countertop made by Idaho Stone Crafters. The entire countertop is poured in place over cabinets using special forming techniques to create a seamless finish. The mix itself is very dense and strong. | $6k | Homedale, ID |
