Murdock home repair

We just had screen work done by Murdock Home Repair. The workmanship is shoddy at best. When we contacted Derek Cipoletta, regarding the issues we got one excuse after another.all of the shrubs around our pool cage were damaged beyond repair and had to be replaced. One of them was pulled completely out of the ground. There are places where there is no spline holding the screen in place. He also goes by Screens Done Right. He showed us license numbers, however we couldn’t find any company with those numbers when we did a search. Stay away from Derek Cipoletta, Screens Done Right, and Murdock Home Repair.

BEWARE. This is NOT a licensed contractor in Florida. He is not permitted to do any home repairs or improvements in any county in Florida. A google search of this company brings up a recent News story accusing this business of check fraud. Fact: He used an app for estimates that makes him look professional and uses fake business/ contractor license number. He will tell you he is licensed and insured but will make many excuses and never provide that documentation. He can't he is not actually licensed and insured. The website he directs you to will not open but will track you. The app he uses to provide professional looking estimates allows ANYONE to use it, they do not check licensing info, the do not require an EIN (necessary for any business in the US) to use that app or even take payments. Beware of any company using that app and FYI: I've found 3 "companies" /"contractors" that are not licensed yet advertising on Porch. Derek Cipoletta, Derek Murdock, Murdock home repair is a fraud company.
