About TEW Design Studio
TEW Design Studio is a boutique commercial & residential Interior Design firm. Owned and operated by Two Ethnic Women, the "TEW" crew will be there in every step of the way to guide you through the process. We are fortunate to call North Carolina our home but our service area extends from coast to coast. The scale of our projects vary from 1,000 to 20,000 square feet but regardless of the scale of the project, we treat each creative venture with equal respect.

Rima was amazing to work with and transformed our basement into the high-end luxurious guest house that we were looking for. I was operating from my home in Richmond, VA and Rima made it super easy to make my selections on everything from, kitchen setup to wall colors, floor plan layout to vases. She went above and beyond accommodating my busy schedule and added every extra touch I imagined. She blended comfort and style and transformed my house into a home. It was easy to trust her judgement based on her attention to detail and wealth of knowledge.

  | Cary House Renovation and Interior Design | Feb 2016 | This home is a true gem in the heart of MacGregor Downs community in Cary, NC. Built in the 1980's in true Modernist design and architecture, the new owners wanted to keep the integrity of the original design. We redesigned the Half Bath, created floor plan layouts for new furniture, spec'd out furniture, accessories, flooring material, lighting, and artwork, as well as worked on brightening the wall and ceiling paint colors. One challenge we faced during the design process were the very tall ceilings, the very wide walls, and unusual angles. We chose interesting , engaging, and minimalistic artwork for the walls, which proved a successful solution. Another challenge was having a large open angled living room space; we created the perfect layout with separate functional gathering areas and eliminated unused corners. | $50k | Cary, NC |
