So we'll have to put this into 2 buckets in order for our viewers to understand this story. First of all Mr. Christian Gladwell is really ACC Roofing & was a sub-contractor who we hired to perform some exterior repairs on 2 different properties. He is NOT a client, his company was a sub-contractor to THR in this situation. So Mr. ACC Roofing received a deposit on 4/27 for Property #1 of $900 for some exterior repairs around the home. He stated he'd complete the total work of an agreed upon price of $1800 on 4/28. He then was supposed to immediately go to Property #2 to change a few fascia boards in which THR dropped off the wrong size material for a few fascia boards. So due to accidently getting incorrect sizes of fascia boards for Property #2, Mr. ACC through a fit, demanded payment for Property #1 (even though it wasn't even reviewed as of yet) decided to quit Property #2, & then go home & send an invoice over to THR for Property #1 for a total of $2100. Why the amount was changed is still beyond me..... and for performing less work ta-boot.... On 4/28 THR reviewed the work that was performed by ACC Roofing & the job was not complete. An area of soffit was overlooked, several nails scattered throughout the driveway, & 4 bags of trash were left over as well. So for anyone reading this, would you consider that a complete job? So THR terminated ACC Roofing from the job on 4/28 (both property's), all while Mr. ACC Roofing demanding payment in full & that I drop what I was doing to meet him to pay him in full. So, for Property #1, I personally removed the debris, collected a bag of nails that at any point could have punctured our clients tires, & had another associate run over to address the overlooked soffit that required replacing. THR then placed final payment of $900 (which he is even lucky he received that much, that's how badly our company wanted to be rid of Mr. ACC Roofing). You can only imagine the voicemails he's left along with this review. It's damaging to someone reputation, cause not everyone knows the full story. Frankly I wish there was a way to file a complaint for defamation of character on ACC Roofing, because this would be a great example. So at the end of all of this, Mr. ACC Roofing deposited his remaining $900 on 5/2 without saying another word to THR. So much for that $2100, huh? So he basically left this comment cause he didn't receive payment when he wanted it, & even though the job was NOT completed in full. And here's the kicker everyone..... On all of his estimates & invoices, he states 15 net payment terms. So the guy doesn't even obey his own statements, what do you think he'd do to you? Be leery of giving this guy/company any of your money. And he DEMANDS money the moment he's done, probably doesn't even give his clients the opportunity to look things over. Anyway, I personally think this guy has a screw loose, & I'm sorry it didn't work out. Fortunately for my company, we learned this early as this was only the 2nd or 3rd job we sent their way. We got off rather cheap to find out what kind of show they're running over there at ACC Roofing. I'm just glad we didn't have any of our clients get involved with remitting a large amount of deposit money to this company. There's something to be said about a painter who demands payment for service before the paint even dry's, just saying.
