Yard Hydrant Leak Repair | Jul 2014 | Slow leak underground from yard hydrant next to house. Dug up sprinkler line on PVB exit line. Followed line back until leak was found on PVC male adapter. Low Water Pressure | Jul 2014 | Customer complained of low water pressure and a drip at the PRV. Observed the leak and took a pressure reading. House pressure was over 125 PSI outside. Replaced the bad PRV and set pressure at 75 PSI. Also informed customer of bad expansion tank and possible water damage to water heater. Water heater was original to house, over 13 years old. Disposal Disfunction | Jul 2014 | Kitchen disposal was not draining. Customer used Draino to no effect. Emptied all of the water from the sink and disposal and removed the disposal drain to find the drain was clogged with chicken. Removed trap and cleaned all debris from the drain. Sprinkler Line Leak | Jul 2014 | Customer noticed leak on his sprinkler line off the rear of the house. 1" black poly had a freeze break, which had been leaking for some time. Leaking Ice Maker Line | Jul 2014 | Customer was concerned that a toilet might be continuously running due to high water bill. Checked all toilets in home and they tested fine. However, found leak in the ice maker line in the kitchen. Removed line at customer request. Kitchen floor and basement ceiling have heavy water damage. Restoration company had already been contacted.
