We needed substantial plumbing work to be done in our house. The work needed experienced and highly skilled plumbers. Many plumbers we called to wouldn't take this job and told us explicitly that they do not have right skill set and qualification. John Maurer send us team of plumbers which had done thorough high quality job over few days. We greatly appreciate John's help and meticulous work of his plumbers. We highly recommend his company. They are definitely one of the best on Cape Cod.

We own a rental property in Falmouth, and on July 8 we desperately needed a plumber to fix our broken hot water heating system. I called every single plumber in the area, and no one was available to help us. One of the plumbers was John Mauer plumbing, who told us it would be two weeks before they could help us because they were so busy. I understood, and told them two weeks would not work, we needed it fixed asap, we had renters there and other renters lined up, and I told them I was going to continue calling other plumbers. We found someone who could help us, but not until Wednesday, July 10. It was the best we could do. On Wednesday, MasterTech arrived on time, explained what was wrong, told us what our options were, and we had a new system installed by MasterTech the next day. This past weekend (Saturday, September 28, 2019), we received a bill from John Mauer Plumbing for $162. Turns out they were actually able to send someone out that day, but they never told me. Someone from John Mauer Plumbing went to my house without ever contacting me to say they could be there, no one from John Mauer Plumbing contacted me to ask if I had found a plumber yet, no one from John Mauer Plumbing ever contacted me about anything. Someone showed up, looked at it, and never called me to let me know they had even been there. The first I heard that they had been there was this morning, September 30, 2019, nearly 3 months after the fact. I texted back and forth with the owner, who apologized about the miscommunication. Um, this was not a “miscommunication.” It was a non-communication. Had I known they could, in fact, be there that day, I would have met them there, discussed options, and scheduled them to do the new system install. Even if they had gone there without my knowledge and called me after the fact, that would have been great. But they never told me a thing. They showed up unknown to and unauthorized by me, never said they were there, never gave me an opportunity to hire them, then billed me for it. Not happy at all. Cannot speak to their work because I wouldn’t know. They never actually did any work.
