BREACH OF CONTRACT On Nov 30, 2019 We hired NICK BILLMAN through HOME DEPOT to install a 500 sf Trex deck in our back yard. While waiting for the Trex to arrive, he was to construct the wood framing. Getting him to show up to begin the project took numerous texts which mostly went unanswered. Finally he and helper showed up around mid December and managed to get framing partially done, leaving posts sticking up, base unfinished, and bags of cement all over the yard, which have since hardened and are lying out there, ruined. Not once did he actually show up when he said he would. When we asked him to please pick a day to work and stick to it, his response was that of an offended person, taking umbrage that we would dare question his non appearances. When Trex arrived, he would not pick it up for many days after, and when he did, did not inspect it. When he unloaded all of it, he realized pieces were damaged. This took another ten days which we understood and accepted. However, when replacement pieces arrived, he waited another two weeks to pick up, resulting in the pieces being buried in Home Depot's warehouse. When he finally got there to pick up the pieces , he waited approx a half hour before storming out of the store without the pieces. Since then, he has refused to come finish the framing, take away all his debris, bring all the merchandise we already paid for to complete the job, or give any explanation for his inability to complete this job. When he has responded over the last two months, it was always an excuse-- his kids are sick, his wife is sick, he is sick, it's raining, there's a family emergency, he has another job. We went to Home Depot yesterday to request manager call him and get him to finish the job. We explained we don't want to go to court and if he would just show up and finish this three day job, everything would be great. The manager, Johnny, told us that Nick was a "nice guy". Well finally we get a text from Nick a few hours later that since we threatened to sue, he is quitting the job!!!!!! What a piece of work. Now we have to seek help from Home Depot, and, most likely, our attorney. We have all his texts promising to come work but never showing up. We have paid for all materials and half of his labor for a job less than half completed and materials incomplete. What a disaster. There is so much more crap involving his communication, but I'll spare you. We regret ever meeting Nick and if he hadn't changed his business name to AGRO FENCE, we would have seen his negative reviews before hiring him. RUN FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS INCOMPETENT SLACKER / SHYSTER

BREACH OF CONTRACT March 26th 2017, we hired Nick Billman to enclose our patio, April 18th, build 2 sheds, May 23rd, add circle to our drive, and April 28th, remove and replace fence around property/driveway with a pipe fence. Each job had a contract w/bid and date of completion. Also contract had warranties of 5 yrs for patio and sheds, then 10yrs on fence. The roof on the patio leaked with first rain. I called Nick and he came out to fix it the next day and said if it leaks again to let him know. Afterwards we have had leaks every time it rains. I called him and he said he would take care of it. As of today, 9-16-17, he still hasn't come out to do that. The sheds Nick built are good and he did a good job on the circle drive. However the fence is not completed. Nick requested weekly checks towards the labor cost to pay his workers. Against my husband's better judgement, he agreed to pay him weekly, although the contract stated 30% down and balance on completion of job. Nick sent out 1 or 2 workers 2 or 3 times a week but they never worked a full day. Some weeks no one came out at all. The last worker that came out, finished putting in the posts that Nick had cut, and needed 46 more to finish. He called and Nick said that he would come and cut more posts, but never did, and that’s where the job ended. June 15th was last check my husband paid NIck. We paid him total price of contract except for $100.00 and was looking forward to the completion of fence shortly thereafter. That was the last time we saw Nick. Most of the pipe posts are cemented in but the top rail and fencing are not done. He never finished the job. I have called, emailed, and texted him to please finish this fence and Nick hasn't answered and told me when he's going to complete the fence. The last email I sent on 9/7, I asked him to reimburse me for labor to finish the fence and we would hire someone else. He still hasn't answered me. So here we are, out over $12,000.00 and no fence. Now we have to get someone else to finish Nicks job and pay more money to get it done. We are senior citizens and on a fixed income, this sure hurts. My husband is 76 and a military vet. It's a shame that we were taken advantage of in such a way. I don't know how he sleeps at night.
