Simmons Complete Tree Service

My husband and I would definitely NOT recommend Simmons Tree Services (they operate out of Central, SC). They did not complete the work they had agreed to do. We have talked with "Squirrel" (Mr. Richard Simmons) several times and he said they were coming out to see what else needed to be done - and that they would "make things right". However, he never came, and now, he does not answer his phone or the company phone. When he was paid (in full - which I should not have done), he said, "we will be back and make things right." Now, we are having to hire another company to finish what should have been done by Simmons Tree Services. Simmons Tree Services did work in our neighbor's yard, and we were very impressed with their work, and especially the clean up afterwards. We had a LOT of work done (for a lot of money) and they did clean up some as they went along, but there was still much left undone and a lot of clean up needed. Be warned - if you need tree work done, use another company.

ZERO SERVICE AFTER SALE: At a neighbor recommendation I called and A person identified himself only as “squirrel” responded. the next day Mr Squirrel gave me $2,500 estimate to think out an oak tree in our back yard and promised his daughter would put us on schedule board and call with a schedule the same afternoon. One full week went by and no call and no schedule. So I called and asked Mr. squirrel for an update. He said oh his daughter must have forgotten. He promised to call by close of business next day with a schedule. One more week went by and I called Mr. squirrel again. This time he was visibly irritated as if I was bothering him but said he would do the work on Friday. Friday came and went. Today is another Friday and no schedule and no signs of any work done.
