We are professional organizers working in the Virginia/Maryland/metro DC area. Sometimes, life just gets busy and things slide a little. This can result in a basement full of boxes or a garage that has no room for your car. Whether your kids have finally moved out and you're afraid to go into their rooms, or you've just inherited a lifetime of possessions from your parents, life can become overwhelming. We take a holistic approach with our clients. This means we don't just deal with the stuff, we try to help you figure out how the stuff took over and what you really want to do with the space. In that way, you take control not only of your stuff and your space, but also your life. Most professional organizers work by themselves. We have a team of organizers so we can match you with someone with whom you can work well, based on your needs and your personality. For big tasks we also have assistants that can help make things quicker and easier. We are concerned about your privacy, which is, after all, one of your most valuable possessions. That's why we all have signed non-disclosure agreements. Our founder, Maria, is a Board Certified Professional Organizer (CPO®) which puts her among the elite in the industry. This means that she has demonstrated a broad knowledge about organizing, has passed a nationwide standardized exam and has many hours working with clients. We have team meetings where we train our organizers and assistants. We also bring in outside experts to cover topics often needed by our clients. This includes things like legal paperwork, geriatric care management and designing storage solutions. We don't pretend to be experts in those fields, but this way we can intelligently discuss our clients' needs and help them choose the right solutions for them.
