I will NEVER recommend Accent Homes! FUTURE BUYERS BE AWARE! This builder is full of games and has a ton of hidden fees (specifically at closing)! I completely regret building my house with Accent Homes! Personally, if I could do this entire process again, I would have built with D.R. Horton Inc., Ryan Homes, Pulte Home Corp., CalAtlantic Group Inc., or Lennar Corp. The exterior of these homes are okay, but they lack character and are crafted extremely poorly! Additionally, the interior of the homes are poorly made and rushed from corner to corner! Every day, I wake up and notice a new paint / construction flaw in some way, shape, or form! I have been living in my home for less than a month, and I already have a hole in my driveway foundation – not to mention huge soft spot in my ceiling within my loft area! It literally looks as if the sheetrock is starting to separate from one another! I was informed by the construction manager that the hole in my driveway would be repaired, but guess what……… (IT NEVER WAS REPAIRED)! The HORRIBLE experience goes on…. The ceiling in my stairwell is still half painted and has poor drywall installation! I even pointed these issues during my blue tape walk through, and I was informed this issue would be fixed before I moved in, but THESE ISSUE ARE STILL NOT RESOLVED! I was informed that painters would be coming to fix my issues after I moved in, but guess what…… (THE FLAWS WERE NEVER REPAIRED)! My entire experience with this builder was a complete nightmare! In the beginning of my selection process, my realtor and I had a horrible experience with Sandy McComb (Sales Advisor). She was very rude! Sandy even tried to force and mandate me to using Accent Homes closing attorney! BUYERS BE AWARE……. a builder cannot legally make you use their closing attorney (especially if they are not providing you with any incentives)! Sandy later caught an attitude with my realtor and I, after he (my realtor) challenged her to get more clarity on me using my own closing attorney! Guess who ended up using their own closing attorney – I did…. BUYERS BE AWARE! Accent Homes will try and pull a fast one on you! At the beginning of process, I put down $4,000 earnest money to secure my lot! Can you believe Sandy called me and asked me to please bring in my earnest money! I was completely confused and upset! I knew I paid my earnest money deposit, because Kacy Hutchins (Sales Advisor) emailed me a copy of my receipts when I initially paid……...Accent Homes misplaced my $4,000 earnest money check! I literally had to forward an email to the staff just to provide evidence that I paid my earnest money! What a complete nightmare! Here is another scary incident which occurred throughout my building process……my home exterior and interior color selections paperwork was incorrect! What does this mean?...........my house would have been built to older color selections I previously chose before I updated my color selections for the second time. A lot of my original selections were discontinued throughout my building process! I was extremely frustrated and annoyed with Accent Homes! My LVP flooring and brick exterior were discontinued! Overall, this process was not good at all! I was excited to build my first investment property, but I would NEVER BUILD WITH ACCENT HOMES! Buyers please do yourself a favor and save the headache! DO NOT TRUST ACCENT HOMES! This builder does not act in the best interest of the buyers! I will NEVER recommend Accent Homes!

The experience as far as the home buying process was good. But the finishes on the home Were just poor quality. While doing the walk thru there some things that were noticed and there lots of things that were missed. I have been in my home for two months now and everyday I notice something. I am disappointed.
