About Harrington By Design
I am am interior decorator in the Asheville, NC area. I have been in the interior design business since 2013, working in both residential and commercial design, I have also staged homes for realtors and builders. I offer my clients a preview of their design area in 3D before I start the work. My fee's are very budget friendly and I can work with your current furniture to just freshen things up a bit, or a full home/business design. | Den Design in Tryon, NC | Dec 2017 | I designed a very warm and welcoming den area for my clients and their children to relax in. I helped them pick out fabrics in modern gray and tangerine to give the design a more modern and comfortable look to the comfy sectional with lots of colorful pillows. I also added an accent chair in a coordinating fabric of beige and tangerine as well as some unique artwork such as the antique postage stamp prints above the sofa in complementing colors. I chose a ming dynasty media unit to hold the owners wide screen tv in a warm chestnut finish to match the accent tables by the sofa and warm bronze and glass lamps with 3 way lighting to give a nice cozy ambiance at night. In the center of the room is a rectangular chestnut leather cocktail ottoman with storage for family games or to rest your feet. Add greenery some hand made baskets for texture and a snuggly throw of cream and tangerine for warmth, and a soft grey modern textured area rung and you have a warm, cozy space for the family to spend quality time together. | $20k | Tryon, NC |
