Quick Movers

I have never written a negative review about any company, but my experience with the moving company Quick Movers has been AWFUL. I was scammed and I don't want anyone else to go through this. Here's what happened: - Our scheduled moving time was 11am and they arrived at 4pm - They showed up with no tools yet they offer free assembly/disassembly - Arrived at our new place at 8pm - Had no protective foot coverings for our new carpeted floors (We had to give them plastic bags, which they took off) - Our walls were scratched, dented, and scuffed - Our brand NEW hardwood floors were scratched - We realized our TV was BROKEN when we unwrapped it - Our couch's upholstery was torn - Dish ware was broken - Boxes and items were just piled sloppily on the floor - Bookshelf was scraped and hardware was lost To top all of this off, we told them that night when paying that we had some concerns. We were told that they were fully covered and that their insurance would cover these things. She said they would call us tomorrow. Not only did they NOT get back to us, they basically ghosted us and have actively avoided our calls, not answered voicemails. We STILL have yet to speak with any management. The only interaction we have had with them since was on Thumbtack (where we found them for the job), and nothing came from that. This is about more than the damaged property (which sucks enough). It's about being SCAMMED by a company that said they would make things right and fix their mistakes.

I hired these people to move a 3 bedroom house. The two guys that showed up were nice but showed up in a budget rental truck. I had to leave to go to a funeral and that’s where things went sideways. They dropped my safe and busted my gutter and broke some bricks on my steps. After the move I noticed some change missing from my room and a broken mirror they hid behind another mirror and didn’t tell us. I contacted several people about the incident and they were very rude and did not help at all. They said they would reimburse me for the gutter but acted like I stole my own money and broke my own stuff. I would give negative stars if possible. Will never recommend or use again. A very very unprofessional company

DO NOT HIRE THESE MOVERS!!! They wasted my time, and NEVER SHOWED UP. Called me for a few hours saying they would be late. Then attempted to reschedule 6 hours after the time they were scheduled. I was unable to reschedule, because I had to be out of the old house that day. They said they would figure something out and then never called back, never answered my calls. These people cost me time and money. Save yourself the grief and the trouble. Hire someone else.
