Outdoor Man Cave Mural | Jul 2016 | The homeowner is creating a huge party area behind his house in an older section of Chattanooga, TN. He built an outdoor grill area just off of a game room. First, he put a faux brick surface on some hardee board, then hired me to paint a mascot for his favorite football team (U of TN) onto it, leaving some areas roughly painted on purpose. The owner has installed rope lighting above the mural (behind the wood trim) and colored LCD lighting behind the wood trim just below the mural and above the backsplash area. | $1k | Chattanooga, TN
Fireplace Insert painting and Stack Stone Mural | Jun 2016 | The homeowner had a covered patio outside of their horse stable and wanted to dress it up. She found an old oak mantel and had it installed. So she now needed to dress up the plywood behind the mantel and faux fireplace she created. Out of the ideas i sent her, she chose the fireplace insert. The stackstone above the mantel matches her home exterior. I used 2 different metallic painted to make the fireplace insert look real. They were very pleased! | $750 | Tunnel Hill, GA
Angel Mural - Las Vegas Residence | Jun 2015 | Customer contacted me after finding me on the internet, and wanted an angel mural for his mother, who collects them. They found art online, i tweaked the colors to match her taste, and added Japanese butterflies, and ..... voila! We then custom matched the blue paint to frame the mural and adjacent arches. | $3k | Las Vegas, NV
Wedding Board and Wedding backdrops | Jan 2013 | After seeing that the venue for her wedding was really just a large, open space, this young lady decided she needed something to get married in front of. She also wanted something to show off her favorite flower - pink peonies, for the rather bland reception area. The wedding backdrop was used for the background during her ceremony, and then was moved to her cake area to provide background for those pictures too. The ceremonial one was done in one of the bride's colors and with words that meant something to them. These boards can be customized to any couple - there are 2 styles. Contact me for more information. | $2k | Fort Oglethorpe, GA
Cheerleading complex - Ringgold High School, Ringgold, GA | Jan 2012 | After tornadoes ravaged the Ringgold area in April, 2011, restoration projects began. The cheerleading building was completely blown away, so this project was one of the last I completed for renovations. I suggested to the cheer coach that we bring in some color, and include some quotes the girls thought were inspirational. When I walked in the room, originally, it was only blue, gray and white - boring! This is a girls' space and I thought it should be lively and fun! Besides the murals you see here, we also painted the back wall a lemon yellow, which completely brightened up the space. | $11k | Ringgold, GA
Living Room select textures | Jan 2011 | The same young man with the Man Cave wall in his bedroom wanted something unique in his living room without going under construction. We came up with this combination of color and texture. The blue color was added to the left (was a white wall), then boards were painted in 5 tones onto the wall in a horizontal fashion, with concrete panels painted into the corners. | $500 | Morton, IL
Man's Slate bedroom wall | Jan 2011 | In his first apartment after college, this young man wanted to create a manly feel. He decided on this rock-like texture. The adjacent wall was painted black to show off the new texture. | $500 | Morton, IL
The Car Barn of Chattanooga | May 2010 | Phase one of this project started when a commercial contractor approached me and asked me if I could design a town. "Sure!" I said, and design began. First, an overall design had to be designed, to incorporate the original owner's personal history - each building was significant to his past. All the while I was designing the mural and facade spaces, I had to keep in mind how I was going to make the stamped concrete floor design make sense with the town and the four garage doors located in the front of the building, along with one at the back. Later, 2 huge air conditioners were added at an upper level in the space, so those had to be incorporated into the design, as well. The first phase commenced in August, 2003 and was completed in February, 2005, now with several scenes behind the completed facade doors. When the original owner ran into financial trouble, he was forced into the selling the building, which he sold to a local caterer. She, then, called me back into The Car Barn to paint something on the back of the four garage doors in the front of the building. These additional mural spaces had to make sense with the (award-winning) floor design and the murals and facades that were already there. Those spaces were completed in May, 2010. | $60k | Chattanooga, TN
iPod room | Jan 2007 | iPod figures were captured and painted onto all 4 walls in the room to capture the essence of the occupant's band members. The silhouettes were painted onto 2 diff colors of green bands, atop a black base. The bedding and draperies were custom-made to match, with the black on the bottom, and the same green on the top. The bed simply had a black dust ruffle, and green comforter. | $1k | Ringgold, GA |
