  | Cost Effective, Energy Efficient, Safe | Mar 2014 | This customer had very old equipment and an unsafe box built around the flue piping. They were not expecting this project and were looking for a solution that caved them money up front, as well as in the long run. I was able to get them a 16 SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) A/C system (rebates!) as well a variable speed blower motor. We saved them up front by staying away from the high AFUE (Annual fuel utilization efficiency). The variable speed blower will go a long way in efficiency as well as comfort. We also fixed a safety issue in regards to the flue piping. Combustible material installed too closely to the flue so we used sheet metal to create a barrier between the heat source and combustion material. As with any Chesterfield Service job, we pulled all of the proper permits and the customers are very satisfied. | $8k | Ballwin, MO |
