Custom rustic entryway | Oct 2016 | This project was to put a entryway on a log home that was built without one originally. We also replaced the roof on the house as well, and poured the concrete pad for the porch and walkway. There was also some work to the house as well that caused the cost of the project to go up as well including replacing a few logs in the house. The customer hand picked the ceder log posts. The stone was also chosen by the customer. Custom copper snow and rain diverters were also used per the customer. | $40k | Kattskill Bay, NY
Camp Dock System | Sep 2016 | This client had the original permanent dock destroyed by ice and weather. They needed a solution that would allow them to remove one portion of the dock. The design for the dock was done in-house at Adirondack Customs. The removal of the old dock and the new dock build and installation were done completely by Adirondack Customs. Our experienced crew not only did a great job, but got the project finished almost 2 weeks ahead of schedule. Needless to say we have a very satisfied customer. | $55k | Old Forge, NY
Standing seam metal roof | Dec 2015 | Old shingled roof needed replacement. There had been some shingles coming off and some water leaking in to the home. The homeowners wanted a different look for the house and decided to go with standing seam. They chose a Coco Brown color SL-16 standing seam metal roofing by ABC. As you can see by the photos there were some sections of sheathing that needed to be replaced. Even with the sharp pitch of the roof our experienced crew here at Adirondack Customs got the job done ahead of schedule and ahead of the winter weather. | $10k | Chestertown, NY
Log Cabin | Jan 2015 | These are from a while back. It is still under construction. We started this project with the initial introductions in May 2014. We worked with the client and the manufacturer of the log home package to get what the client wanted in a home. We then did all the site work, worked with the engineer to get the plot plans in place. We also did the complete tear down of the existing home and prepped the site for the new home, septic system, foundation work, placing logs, framing, wiring, plumbing, HVAC, etc.. All done in house by Adirondack Customs without subcontractors. We hope to be completed in the spring and we will post more photos with the latest progess as we go. Like we always say, " We are with you from concept to completion." | $200k | Indian Lake, NY

Cumaru Deck & Screen Porch | Jun 2016 | This was a remodel/re-purpose project. The deck was older and needed the decking and railings replaced on two sides of the house. The structure needed some reinforcement which was done with the removal of the old decking. The right side of the house also had an existing deck as well that the homeowner wanted to convert to a screen porch to be used during spring, summer, and fall. After removing the old decking and railings, we added stairs to the right side and replaced the railings and decking with Cumaru, or otherwise known as "Brazilian Teak". As you can see the decking and railings came out looking very nice with coloring very similar to a Mahogany, and will last for years to come. We then turned our attention to the side deck conversion. The screen porch was build with custom pine beams milled locally, and knotty pine on the interior walls. The Cumaru decking matches the rest of the deck which ties both spaces together quite nicely. A custom chimney chase was made to cover the existing chimney. After speaking with the manufacturer and local authorities and making sure it was to code and would safe, it was consructed by one of our master carpenters. It came out looking very nice wrapped in knotty pine. A clear coat was applied to all the pine surfaces, while timber oil was used on the decking and railings. To wrap things up nicely a high quality Anderson screen door in a custom green color sets off the entire project nicely. Throughout the entire process the homeowners enjoyed working with us, and could not be happier with the result. They plan on using it for many different gatherings for years to come. | $60k | Schroon Lake, NY |
