Our goal is a conservatory that looks as though it were always a part of the original home or grounds. The conservatory, and particularly English Conservatories are an sophisticated version of what is commonly referred to as a sunroom, solarium or garden room. Conservatories and orangeries, a variation of conservatories, have been popular since the 16th century when homeowners wanted to grow the exotic fruits that traders brought back from warmer climates. Today, the conservatory can be anything, from a simple glazed room to our beautiful Fine Glass Buildings. Our English conservatory designs take into consideration your desires and the room's intended use while creating a harmonious addition to the property. Town & Country is one of England's premier designers and manufacturers of bespoke (custom) conservatories. Town & Country traces its roots to the early 1980's to a custom carpentry shop owned by Kevin Tuck, who was an apprentice boat builder and now the Managing Director of Town & Country. With over 30 years of experience, the company has an award winning portfolio of projects. The company workshops are in Norfolk, two and one-half hours northeast of London with principal design offices in London and Chicago. The North American office of Town & Country is owned and operated by James Licata, an attorney and 20 year veteran of the industry. Mr. Licata has expanded the product line to include all-aluminum structures and a line of standard traditional skylights, as well as extended the geographic reach of Town & Country to all areas of the country from Beverly Hills to Manhattan to Canada. This year Town & Country completed its first Middle East project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
