Chicago Accupaint

John and his crew were great. He helped us select colors that look even better than we thought. They arrived on time (even a little early) and completed the project (front porch, lots of trim, pressure washing outside, and inside, they did 5 rooms and two ceilings) in a timely fashion and even finished the project ahead of schedule. They were all very respectful and easy to work with. I will definitely recommend them to anyone and will hire them again.

I wish there was a zero star option. This contractor came over and gave me an estimate, we scheduled a time, and then no one ever showed up for the work. No call, no email, no text. I can understand someone being overbooked, or needing to reschedule. But to allow me to take the day off work for nothing, to ignore the commitment, is unprofessional. No acknowledgement or apology has yet been offered. Approach this company with extreme caution.

REPEAT Customer--HORRIBLE experience Re-hired Accupaint in May 2017 and will NEVER EVER use this company or recommend. FYI-we had John paint our condo in 2014 and had a great experience and decided to go with his company again. BIG MISTAKE--he failed in email communication and delayed the start date until we followed up again and again, trying to set a start date. I sent him the paint colors and he denied receiving them despite me resending the original email. He showed up with NO PAINT after telling me he would get all the paint. And now he has someone else working with him--HORRIBLE WORK ETHIC. Both were late in starting, came in and out of the house with muddy shoes and washed their paint brushes in our bathroom sinks. They left so many unpainted surfaces, trampled our plants outside painting our pergola and tracked the mud all over the house! When my husband confronted John on the phone about the poor work, mess in the house and broken plants--John called my husband an A-hole and was very aggressive. Our nanny also witnessed all of the behavior and alerted us to what was happening. Needless to say we fired them immediately. Overall--HORRIBLE WORK ETHIC ----EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE and DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR! Don't hire unless you want to deal with an A-hole!

I used Accupaint to paint several rooms in my home. John is amazing! He is not only professional and great at what he does, but he is honest, efficient, fair and trustworthy. I feel so fortunate to have used him. I highly recommend him for any job needed from inside to outside to large or small spaces. You will not regret it!
