The Business Of Color

The Business of Color is an architectural color consulting firm that specializes in the selection of color and material coordination for interior/exterior residential, commercial, healthcare, restaurants and institutions. My process is designed to remove the anxiety (and countless paint samples ) to create a perfect palette for you. Working together, I review your project details, tour the property (or photographs) and using large samples of actual paint color, I will make my color specifications. A typical whole house color consult takes approximately 60-90 minutes. Online or "remote" consultations are completed in studio with photographs, site plans and a questionnaire that covers all aspects of the property. Because of our extensive experience and unique method of color specification, we can complete remote consults with the same accurate results as onsite consultations. Whichever method you select, I will work with you to make sure you have the best color plan possible! By the end of our meeting you will have a complete coordinated color palette for your home. Within 48 hours you will receive a full Color Map that includes paint samples, and all specifications. The Color Map allows you to see the "Big Picture" of your project but also gives you the tools to complete it within your own time frame. If needed, color boards and full color renderings will be provided along with a complete paint schedule for your paint contractor. Additionally, I will be available throughout the duration of your project to consult as needed. Color Consultations may also include coordinating paint color with carpet, textiles, stone, tile and other surfaces. I use a 10 point color profiling system to make sure your color is perfect! The end result? The best color selection possible!
