FLOODSTAR Restoration

I hired Dan to do a 6 unit apartment remediation job, to the tune of over $20,000. Things seemed to go OK until we tested for how effective it was, the PRV. I had to have FLoodstar come back 3 times for just a crawl space alone. It was quite obvious, the techs just simply didn't wipe down all the space, like DAN told me it is to be done. He knows what needs to be done, HE just has really crappy quality control. Guys show up to work and spend most of the day on breaks and goofing off. It took 6 months to get the rework completed!!!. And he has very poor accounting methods. Can't produce me a simple statement of Invoice amount, Payment Amount. I’m now in process of recounting all my canceled checks and matching them up with invoices. Yes, He gave me a self pay discount since my insurance would not pay. I invited Dan into the crawl space to do an inspection of HIS own companies work and he said "oh yea, they should have got this, we will come back and rework it." Then the PRV test came back failed again. And then a third time, and a finally 5 months after we started, they got it right. Tried to blame me but the facts where in the visual inspections. And they "sealed in" obvious mold that was missed on the wipe down. Get your Quality Control process figured out!!! JM
