My house has Mexican tile, which after 25 years needed new underlayment. This is a very labor intensive job that requires removing all the tile, putting down new underlayment and putting the tiles back in place. It's hard work, and some roofers I called didn't want to mess with it. I got quotes from three and RAGS was the cheapest. They had also recently replaced roofs on two of my neighbor's houses, and the neighbors were happy, so I decided to give RAGS a try. Both Mitch and his son were great guys to work with, and the guys on the crew were polite and hard-working. The job took a little over a week. They showed up when they said they would and I'm very happy with the results. They also fixed some poor work done by the original roofers when the house was built, fixed some holes where rodents were getting in the attic and repaired some wood that had been water damaged.

We had to call many times to get them to come and bid the job. When they did come out, after 4 attempts, they sent a quote for $850. We had purchased our own roofing material. Mitch decided he would rather use a different product and upped the bid to $1,000. We agreed to pay the extra. Well, he did not order enough material to finish the job. He left galvanized flashing exposed everywhere and big globs of caulking over every nail hole where he nailed it down. This roof is very visible from both our dining room and our office windows and is very ugly and unfinished. He nor his office will return our phone calls. They screen every one. So we are left to find someone else to finish the job we paid him to do. He tried to go cheap, and not order the next role of material to complete the job in a professional manner. We would never recommend him and may file a small claims suit to pay for someone else to finish the job. Does NOT follow up or even have the courtesy to return a call.
