W G Burns Construction

Mine was not a happy experience. I caught Mr. Burns lying several times during my 3 renovations. Before I met him for our initial consultation, he called the day of and said his son was sick and couldn't find anyone to take care of him and that he was a single parent. Found out later he actually was married! Was told my project would take about 3-4 days...turned out to be over 2 months!! He did not supply his workers with everything they needed for my job and had to come back. They had to wait. Time lost! This happened more than once. One worker would go to his car and talk on his phone more than once. Again, time & money lost!! I told Mr. Burns about it. He would tell me he would be back on a certain day and time to go over some issues but that never happened about 4 times. Never called either. Other times, he would be late but would call and say it was the I-40 traffic. The toilet in the MB was never secured so he said he would come back out and fix it himself...didn't happen for several days. His phone mailbox was "always full" so I couldn't leave any msgs. So, I emailed him and told him not to come back. I didn't want to deal with him any longer. Would not recommend him for any home project!!! In my situation, I found him to be very unreliable!!
