About Houseworks Daylighting Solutions of Iowa
Houseworks Daylighting Solutions is the only VELUX Five-Star Certified Dealer & Installer in Iowa. No one installs more skylights, Sun Tunnels and SunRise Solar Attic Fans. Everything we do starts on the roof and we stand behind our work with a ten year warranty. Established in 2001. Established in 2001 in Glenview, Illinois, Houseworks began as a company that installed only tubular skylights (similar to the VELUX Sun Tunnel). We expanded rapidly and in 2005 aligned the company with VELUX, the worlds largest manufacturer of skylights. In 2011 VELUX asked us to expand and become their only Five-Star Certified dealer/installer in Iowa so Houseworks Daylighting Solutions of Iowa opened an office/showroom in Des Moines (Clive). Today Houseworks services more residential and commercial skylight accounts than anyone in Illinois or Iowa. We have a very active commercial desk that deals with structural and acrylic skylights not only in Illinois but across the US. Our Illinois retail division covers the entire Chicago area from the Wisconsin border to Mokena. Iowa previously had no Five-Star Certified dealers so Houseworks successfully moved to fill that void. We are very pleased with the business that has developed in Iowa.
