If you want to pay $65/hr for a sloppy job, he is the guy for you! I needed help finishing and installing 5 kitchen drawer blanks. My 2 regular handymen were both booked up until December. So i just googled some handyman services and most were unavailable until December but mr. Collier was able to come by that day after lunch. So he checked out the drawer blanks and gave me a verbal quote of $100 ($65/hr for 1.5hrs). So he said he'd come by the next day to do the job. The next morning, he sent me a text to reschedule for the next day but didn't give me a time. so i agreed to the change and asked when to expect him. no response. the next morning still not a beep from him. so i sent him another message asking if he still planned to do the job. no response. after that, i called him and left a message asking if he's planning to come to do the job. he finally replied. "same time 12". but didn't arrive until 12:30. it took him 3hrs and 15mins to complete what he said could be done in 1.5hrs. the drawers did not roll smoothly after he installed them but he said that's the best he could do. really!! he tried to charge me 3.5hrs when he only was there 3.25hrs. after he left, i pulled out the drawer to check why the they roll smoothly on the track just to find out how sloppy his work was. there are 2 tracks on each side of the drawer, he only put one screw on one side of the track. the other side was left without a screw. are you kidding me!!! that's the BEST you could do??!! you dared to charge $65/hr for this kind of performance?! if anyone should risk to hire him, make sure you mark the time and check the back side of his work that's not so visible.

My experience with Collier's Repairs was VERY disappointing! It began in Sept. 2019 when I contacted Mr. Collier to install motors on both mine & my parent's wrought iron fences. Initially, Mr. Collier came across as professional & timely with providing price quotes, sending pics of the materials needed for him to do the job, & even starting the job at my parent's home first. His follow through was the problem. Despite multiple calls, voicemail, & text messages, most of which Mr. Collier left unanswered. In Jan. 2020, I had to resort to involving my coworker, who is Mr. Collier's girlfriend, to get back parts to my parent's motor that he took with him & left in his truck. I highly recommend that Mr. Collier retire from this business as it seems he no longer enjoys nor takes pride in his work, & for anyone seeking handyman services, use Collier's Repairs AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

Mark was quick to respond with a temporary fix to my smoke alarm chirp problem. He disarmed it and replaced batteries in 3 other smoke alarms. I am thankful for that. He did not call after the week-end as mutually agreed upon to replace the non-working smoke alarms. He knows I have new smoke alarms ready to install. He has not responded to my email and voicemail. I spoke with him last night. He asked to call me back. He didn't. It's been 12 days. If he wants more money, he should say so. I would consider it.
