Ranch in Anderson

Jul 2015

This ranch is located on 100 acres in Anderson, Texas. The owner wished to remain anonymous due to confidentiality of the business, which consisted of farming but mostly hunting. He wanted a fresh coat of paint to modify the ranch and hired us to complete the job in a timely manner. Hunting session was about to begin and the cold temperatures were on their way. The cabins and living quarters of the ranch hands were pressure washed, hand scraped, primed and painted using a solid stain that covered excellent. One of the cabins needed a bright new color for the kitchen cabinets. The shooting range had three covered "Firing Point" locations that had been submerged in water due to a recent flooding. We pressure washed, sanded and scraped off old paint and re-stained all three with the solid stain. The pipe fencing around the "Bull Pen", was all hand sanded, primed and painted with Rust-Oleum paint along with all cattle guards located on the facility. The grand entrance of the ranch has a metal sign that arches over the entrance way that we also sanded and painted was well. The most adventurous part of the job was pressure washing and staining 21 hunting blinds or stands located through out the 100 acres of deep woods, swampy marshes and lakes. We packed up a map, rubber boots, generator, water tank, pressure washer and spray rig in our 4x4 truck and conquered this painting adventure. This project felt more like a vacation than a job! We had a lot of fun and the owner was very pleased.

Residential Family in Bryan

Aug 2014

This couple just purchased their house and wanted an update to all their wallpapered walls and wallpapered ceiling. 2 bathrooms, 1 bedroom and 4 other rooms were stripped of old wallpaper, textured and painted. At the end of the job they asked us if we distressed furniture. I jumped on the opportunity to renew their china cabinet with a distressed finish using the same colors we had used on their dining room. We had a lot of fun on this job. The couple was thrilled with the outcome of their new home and china cabinet!
