This guy doesn't even deserve 1 star but sadly that's the lowest rating available. After reading all the horrible reviews I was very hesitant to hire Vince Metzger, owner of Affordable Fence of PA. I told him my concerns and that I wasn't comfortable hiring him and giving a deposit. He then offered to order materials and start the job and no payment until completion, I thought about it and figured "what do I have to lose?". Well I WAS WRONG. It was a nightmare from the beginning and he's still not finished. From using old rusted aluminum fencing that he literally went around spraying with galvanized spray paint in order to make it look like new, loose caps on top of all posts, and to add he lied and told me the fence was completely finished begging me for a Cashapp payment in which I sent him full payment ONLY to find out that it was NOT FINISHED! I paid $200 for an extra section of fence which he didn't even install!! His was excuse was I ran out! How do you run out when you know exactly how much feet there is too along with plans of fence placement! Oh ya, he didn't even put the fence where I told him too, luckily my neighbor is a nice guy and didn't make me move it! After 4 times of saying my dad's in the hospital to my truck broke down to I ordered the wrong size this or that I've had enough of this lousy and unprofessional so called fence installer. Stay away! I was warned by other reviews on Google and his Facebook page and I still gave him a chance! Don't be the next victim of a con man! In my opinion he's a POS human being that preys on customers.

We hired Vince to put up a double gate and one section of fence in early June. It was predicted that the fence would be complete mid July. It was not complete until October 12th. We received 13 texts throughout the months saying he would be there and then wouldn’t show up or text to say he wasn’t coming. He gave multiple excuses only one in my opinion was valid. He blamed the rain but the truth of the matter is it should have been done prior to the bad rain spells we had in August and September. When the work was complete it looks nice from the road but there is many flaws when you get close. The one pole is leaning and will likely need fixed. The custom gate is built badly. I will post pictures. Hope this helps others to not make the same mistake we did by hiring the faster/cheaper option.
