We are experts in updating and redesigning existing properties. We deliver quality workmanship for your home or small business. The Murphy Group is a family run business with decades of experience in practical construction. Unlike the large 'body shop' contractors who subcontract out work or hire temporary workers, Charlie Murphy himself stays directly involved on every job, and we personally train all the carpenters and helpers we put on the job. Because of this we can deliver better quality, respond more quickly if your needs change and avoid any 'surprises' in schedule, cost or design. Charlie's done three small to medium sized jobs for us: a new window in an exterior wall, a bathroom gut-and-rehab, and a remodel where he replaced an old chimney plenum and cupboard with three modern closets. We've always been happy with his work and his responsiveness to our questions. His subs are great too, particularly the tiler and the plasterer. And he pays a lot of attention to the job, working or at least stopping by every day.
