After starting the process on Porch.com on May 24 Houston Roofing reached out and arranged to come out to my home on 5/26. He texted that morning and said that it was too wet and could I send him pictures. I did and he said he would look at it and felt he could figure out something. I didn’t hear back from him again until June 7 when he texted and said he had ‘forgotten’ me. He again said he would come out on June 16 around lunch time. I asked him to text me 30 minutes before his arrival. At 2:30 I had not heard from him so I texted him. He said his father was on his way but it would be 45 minutes to an hour. Around 5:00 he texted again and said he father had lost GPS connection and could not find me. He became concerned he was going to get stranded and went home. Again Houston Roofing promised to be on the following Wednesday morning. Mid-morning I texted when I had not heard from them and texted 2 more time before 11 am. Finally I got a reply that they had ‘forgotten’. It is completely unacceptable for a contractor to put a customer through this.

I have used Scott several times for various projects, from new roof to new windows and siding. Now he's remodeling a bathroom for us. And it looks GREAT!

They did tile for our bathroom and we had them back to install 2 storm doors. Great work, and cleaned up after the jobs!

Scott has performed the following major projects on our home: New roof, vinyl replacements windows and shutters, and vinyl siding. I am very pleased with his workmanship and especially his attention to detail. I would highly recommend him.
