Goettl Air Conditioning SoCal

!!!!!!!!PREGNANT SISTER GOT NEW UNIT LESS THAN A YEAR AGO, WHICH ALREADY WENT OUT, UNABLE TO GET SERVICE FOR 2 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My sister purchased a brand new Air Conditioning system from Goettl in June 2021, as well as a new water heater. Today, (April 16th 2022) the unit went out and was not providing cool air to the home, she is 9 months pregnant (due any day) and I called Goettl to get a technician to come out and check out their system. Only for me to sit on hold for over an hour, and be told that there was no availability until Monday morning. I would understand if this was a small family owned buisness, but Goettl is not. They say that they are one of the largest HVAC companies in the South Western United States. Which is telling me nothing. I am appalled at the type of service they are providing to an existing customer. Who spent OVER $20,000 dollars on equipment. (Goodman brand by the way) This is absolutely unacceptable for a company of this size. I would like anyone who is considering using Goettl as your primary HVAC company to fully reconsider your decision. You will have much better luck looking for a smaller family owned company to take care of you. Your wallet will thank you as well, that I can promise you. Goettl, I know you are reading this and I for one hope that you take action and learn from these types of reviews. This type of business is what gives people a bad taste in their mouth about technicians. Not only are your Techs commission based income (meaning that their techs only get paid if they sell you something, whether that be a repair part, or and addition to your system that you may or may not need.) You pawn off your equipment sales to "Comfort Advisors" ie. Salesman. The TLDR: My pregnant sister bought a system from Goettl last year, and it already went out. Only for Goettl to tell me that they will not be able to get a tech out for 2 more days..
