Hickory Cabinet Kitchen Remodel | Jul 2014 | This full kitchen remodel features Calico Hickory quarter-sawn cabinet doors which not only gives interest to the kitchen but also blends with the existing refinished oak floors to create a cohesive look. The full height tile back splash with AKDO Emperador Light Turkish accents match the engineered stone counter top. A matching buffet was added to the floor plan for easy entertaining. New pendant lights add a modern touch over the peninsula to enhance this wood themed kitchen. This kitchen is not only beautiful but highly functional with the installation of double ovens and a counter-depth refrigerator. | Corvallis, OR
Log Home Basement Retreat | May 2013 | This 1200 square foot basement in a beautiful log home was remodeled for work, play, and hosting out of town guests. The stone fireplace surround takes center stage with a parent and child desk on either side. Notice the desk on the right has a bespoke slide-out work surface for big projects that can be neatly tucked away most of the time. The wood paneling picks up on the rustic feel of the log home, while the bright yellow paint and extensive lighting give the space an airy feel. A Heat and Glo gas fireplace in Martini bronze finish, a wall-mounted television above the fireplace, sconces from Besa Lighting in amber cloud, and Arcade bamboo flooring in mocha help to create a warm and inviting space. | Albany, OR
Loft and Kitchen Remodel | Nov 2012 | These homeowners dreamed of a new kitchen for many years. They especially liked the look of Biedemeier cabinetry and wanted to include it in their home. By turning around the cabinet doors we came up with a creative solution to mimic this high-end look. The new kitchen features stained maple cabinets. The countertops are Polished Mosaic by Wilsonart with a black granite gem loc edge. The pendants are by Murray Feiss. The pulls are by Amerock. | Corvallis, OR
Cape Cod | Nov 2012 | This historic cape cod has undergone three remodeling projects in the last decade. First we added a master suite, then a garage addition to create a deluxe shop and guest suite, and most recently a suite for a friend including a master bedroom, sitting area, and bath. During this last addition we also expanded the kitchen. All the work was done in keeping with the historic Cape Cod style and finishes. | Corvallis, OR
Serene Corvallis Bathroom | Nov 2012 | This bathroom is the realization of a vision for a relaxing and serene getaway. From the Bellacor mirrors to the pebble flooring in the shower, every item was carefully selected to bring the clients dream to life. Julia Wawirka vessel sinks are a standout accent in this striking bathroom. The locally made custom cabinets are stained maple, the counter is Sea-foam granite, and the pulls are from Top Knob. The Solace sconces are from TEC Lighting. Toe-kick strip lighting adds a warm glow to the bathroom. | Corvallis, OR
Natural Maple and Caesarstone Kitchen Remodel | Jun 2012 | A small kitchen was expanded by removing a wall and making room for a generous island with cook top and hood. The new open layout provides plenty of space for entertaining. | Corvallis, OR
Master Bath Remodel with Hot Tub | Mar 2012 | What could be more soothing than using your hot tub on a clear and starry night, surrounded by glass and protected from the elements? This addition brings the outdoors in and allows the homeowners to enjoy their hot tub year round. To create an outdoor feel we used as many windows and skylights as the building code would allow. The hot tub cover can be opened fully and folded into a recess in the tile for upright storage (see right of photo). Drawers built into the tile provide convenient storage for hot tub supplies and accessories. In order to keep the costs down, we used ceramic tile that mimics slate. The tile was used on the hot tub deck, floor and shower stall. To add visual interest & provide better slip resistance, mosaic tiles of the same material were used on the shower stall floor and recessed niches. | Philomath, OR
Contemporary Caesarstone Kitchen Remodel | Feb 2012 | The Homeowners felt that the existing kitchen was too small with an awkward design lay-out, dated finishes and dysfunctional appliances. They longed for a bright, contemporary kitchen that would coordinate well with adjoining rooms for visual continuity. Their highest priority was to create a more functional, flexible plan better suited for entertaining many sizes of groups. We created additional work stations for multiple cooks, surfaces with varying heights to facilitate an array of tasks, extensive storage options, additional seating to accommodate guests, and distinctive finishes for a fresh, yet cohesive design. The overall look of the finished kitchen is sophisticated and inviting. The combination of light and dark materials creates vibrancy while the neutral colors give a soothing feel. Contemporary appliances and fixtures demonstrate the owners love of cooking and baking, while the finish selections exemplify their charismatic style. | Albany, OR
Bathroom Remodel with Walk-In Closet | Nov 2010 | Our clients main goals were to lighten and brighten their bathroom space and to have a contemporary yet classic look that would remain beautiful for decades to come. Originally the floor and countertops were covered with black slate which gave the space an enclosed, or as the homeowners described it, a cave-like feeling. All new finishes & a slightly modified floor plan brought about a total transformation! Light-colored porcelain floor tiles (DalTile Fabrique) are repeated on the shower wall to tie the space together and give a sense of openness. A full-height glass wall shower partition allows full light transparency from the large picture window in the shower, while keeping water sprays contained. We removed a wing wall that once separated a seated vanity area from the sinks to create one large, open sink vanity. The custom dark stained maple finish and two Kohler semi-vessel sinks on the vanity gave the clients exactly what they needed more elbow room & an exquisite contemporary look. | Albany, OR |
