Jan and Daves new front stairs with lights.

Nov 2014

Removed the old redwood stairs and railings, because the customer wanted the new stairs to be 5" high and 14" steps, we devised a 5" step system in stead of using raisers. The old stairs was three steps, the new stairs are seven steps but easier for someone with a bad back or old legs. Using redwood and pressure treated lumber, we made each frame individualy, we then added LED lights to come on from dusk till dawn.

Kitchen Remodel

Sep 2013

This project started because of the customer complaining about a smell coming from certain parts of the itchen wall. Upon farther investigation we found a lot of mold and dry rot inside the kitchen to outside wall. Also during my investigation, I found problems with the old wiring and plumbing. It was decided by the customer that it would be a good investment to remodel the kitchen. The customer provided the cabinets and accessories.

Deck stairs

Jun 2013

Permit obtained. The customer was very concerned about the lack of an escape route from the rear of her home, she has two decks at different levels and only one escape route from the lower deck. We made a cement foundation to take the weight of the stair load, as to code. We then built a redwood stair case with rails and lights.

Shower and hot tub remodel

Jul 2013

Full tile shower and linier drain installation. Hot tub installation in bathroom space. At a certain age, we all start to develop back, knee and movement problems. To start with the shower, we removed the old shower base and tiled walls. We installed new cement board to the shower walls and the shower base. The idea is to make entrance into the shower as painless as possible, so no more six inch wall to step over, the linier drain makes this possible and for those with walking problems, very easy. The hot tub with air jets was chosen for the actual size available in the bathroom. We managed to match the existing fixtures and built the pony wall to accommodate the tub. Hot tub provided by the customer.
