Kimberly, I would first like to start off by apologizing for your poor experience with our company. At no time did we have the intention for you to feel this way. I would like to explain my stand point on this matter, but not to offend you. We first met at your home on the evening of July 17th, 2014 to discuss the construction of this patio. When I arrived at your home, I took down all the measurements needed to calculate a price on the patio. We later met at my office on July 18th where I was able to show you the material that we were going to use for your project. At that time you and your husband agreed to the block and left a deposit. On the morning of July 22nd, you and I spent about three hours looking for the pavers you liked first at Fizzano Bros. and then at Galantino's. When we were at Galantino's, I showed you all the different types of paver blocks they had to offer. You picked out a paver type and we went inside to order the material. After that you went back outside and before we were getting ready to leave you had seen the bricks in the parking lot that you fell in love with, and picked out the three cubes you wanted to buy. After we brought them to your home, you or your husband disliked how they looked. I believe you got very upset at us because Galantino's did not accept returns of the block. You later went with my supervisor at the time, Joe, to Galantino's to pick out new paver blocks that you liked. I know that from speaking with Galantino's that you personally ordered the pavers the second time around. The pavers that were listed on the invoice were the same color as the ones that were installed in your patio. In regards to the extra pavers every professional hardscape contractor always orders between 5 - 10% extra blocks. Your patio had a lot of colors and block sizes, so we had to get 10% in case of damaged pavers and color shade changes throughout the batch. You have no more that 15 square feet of paver excess which is normal of every job. Usually contractors just take the material but you wanted us to leave it in your garage. After I had seen your frustration, I offered to seal your patio with the gloss seal that you really wanted for free. I am very sorry that I could not get over there as fast as I should have. I recently got married a few weeks after we completed the job and went on my honeymoon. So I was out about three weeks and could not get over there. Donna, my office manager, maintained consistent contact with you from start to finish of this project. I really do apologize for your disappointing experience and will make sure in the future that we will have better communication between our customers.
