I am left feeling that the solution to fixing my porch will not ever be completed. The owner, IOAN is a likable person, but from the beginning, I wondered about business practices, no estimate was given, and nothing about the project in writing on what to expect upon completion of the project and what ultimately it would cost. Additionally, caps on two posts haven't been installed, One post the outer sleeve was cut wrong exposing wood at the top of the post because of the improper cut. What originally started as an attempt to correct the configuration of the stairs, because the top step was too tall for comfortable to climb up to the porch, what I expected was to have evenly spaced stairs to make entry and exit easier. What I got was the bottom stair is now taller than it was, so the problem climbing up is now no better than it was. Additionally, the work he did replacing boards on my back deck had flaws where the boards don't meet together and aren't secure as those areas, split the board it was supposed to connect to and stick up higher than they should. In clear consciousness, I cannot give him a good review because it would mislead possible new clients to hire him, expecting him to satisfactorily complete a project.
