Located in Dallas and Houston, Distinctive Outdoors is a locally owned company specializing in pools, spas, pergolas, gazebos, kitchens, fireplaces, gardens and landscaping. Our tradition for creative designs and excellence in workmanship has been a trademark instilled by our owner, Michael R. Bonano. Mike earned his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Houston in 1982 with a minor in Architectural Design. An integration of his design achievements and studies merited a Hardscape Designers designation in 1999. He has been recognized by the NSPI for regional and national design awards. In addition, he was selected to the 1996 and 1997 Dallas “Parade of Homes’’ and has been a featured builder in the Pool and Spa News. With over 35 years of experience in Residential and Commercial construction and additional years of home building expertise, Distinctive Outdoors is the complete answer for our clients’ design and installation needs.

I had my pool resurfaced in 2017 from The very beginning Mike was extremely responsive,professional and courteous. They did an excellent job and promised me to have my pool done by July 4th! He did and I could not be happier with this company! I highly recommended them and I spent hours researching pool companies before choosing Distinctive Outdoors. Best decision I made! Thank you for being so awesome!
