UNITED MECHANICAL is a leading mechanical contractor in North Texas, serving the plumbing, piping and HVAC needs of our customers for over 60 years! Our diverse clientele includes commercial and industrial property owners, property management companies, residential and multi-family properties, and the construction industries' best general contractors, where we perform as a sub-contractor. Our company employs on average 120 field employees, 30 to 40 HVAC and plumbing service technicians, 10 to 15 metal fabrication mechanics, and 30 to 40 project managers, superintendents, office staff and safety personnel. United was founded by Bill Chester as United Plumbing in 1949. In the early 60s, Bill started United Air Conditioning along with his brother Bob Chester on the same site where United Plumbing was located, just off of Greenville Avenue, on Twin Hills Blvd.
