I purchased a new system from DallasAC.com and could not be happier. They designed a system that delivered optimal efficiency and cooling at a reasonable price.

Colhurst Condenser Repair | Jul 2013 | An extensive teardown of the outside condensing unit revealed a pinched wire. This had caused inconsistent operation of the AC system. A simple wire splice with no charge for parts solved this problem. Even though this outdoor unit was older it was repaired and returned to service. Experienced technicians make all the difference. | $79 | Dallas, TX
Meletio AC System | Apr 2013 | This project was to streamline and upgrade the HVAC system in a 50 year old ranch style home. The new equipment is 16 SEER and includes wifi connectivity for the thermostat and select lighting. | $14k | Dallas, TX
Mendenhall Condensate Drain | Apr 2013 | The AC condensate drain was leaking in this 1960's ranch style home with an older HVAC system. The drain was repaired and plans submitted for future upgrades to eliminate this problem and update the energy efficiency of this residence. | $89 | Dallas, TX
Vinecrest AC Water Leak | Aug 2012 | The homeowner noticed water dripping from the secondary condensate drain near the porch. This system was relatively new but installed by a different contractor. A little re-plumbing and re-positioning of attic unit solved this problem. | $175 | Dallas, TX
Willow Lane Loose fill Attic Insulation | May 2012 | Loose fill fiberglass insulation was added to this 1960's era ranch style home. The total r-value was raised to approximately R40. Not pictured are the can light shields used prevent contact with the insulation. These shields are provided at no extra cost. They allow this upgrade to be installed even if the light fixtures are the old "no contact" type. | $2k | Dallas, TX
Cox Water Leak | Sep 2011 | This ranch style experienced a small water leak on the ceiling. The homeowner said that it occurred when the attic mounted HVAC system was running. An inspection showed that all pans, drains and drain lines were open and operating normally. The tech found a length of flexible duct that had been stripped of insulation. This apparently happened when other workers were in the attic installing computer cables. Moisture in the warmer ambient air (which is normal) had been condensing on the exposed flex. The tech replaced the worn duct run and re-routed it to be out of harm's way. This corrected the leak. | $325 | Dallas, TX
Eudora Coil Repair | Jul 2010 | This project featured replacement of the evaporator coil on the AC system. This was an older home that was slated to be scraped off for new construction within the following two years. This repair allowed the homeowner to remain cool and comfortable till the dream home was constructed. | $2k | Dallas, TX
Wimbledon Heat Pump | Mar 2015 | This Heat Pump was iced up in prolonged wet weather near 32 degrees. The tech checked it out and found it to be running correctly. Running the unit on AC mode for 10 minutes cleared the outdoor unit of frost. The system was left in the emergency heat mode. The homeowner was advised to switch back to heat pump operation when the rainy near freezing weather conditions changed. | $79 | Garland, TX
New System on Charlestown Road | Oct 2014 | The gas HVAC system was replaced on this home built in the 1970's. The home owner reported that his electricity usage decreased dramatically the following summer. This is nice Trane mid-level equipment. | $8k | Dallas, TX |
