Global Green Solutions and Remodeling

In our house we have noticed that certain rooms were a lot colder than others and that we had a high heating bill- $250.00 a month during cold months. I was also aware that some ducts in the attic were partially crushed. So when Global Green Solutions called to clean out the vents and inspect the heater, I alerted them to the crushed ductwork and had them come over to see what they had to say. When Ernie arrived and inspected the house he noticed the old ducting contained asbestos and also that the heater was not sufficient for the size of the house. Originally the house was 2200 square feet but with an addition was now 2650 square feet. We spoke with Ernie for several hours about several options for our house, checked some of the reviews- which were positive- and discussed his quote with someone more familiar with proper costs for the work to be done. We agreed at a price that was fair and I then had them perform the following work: 1) Replace the original heater from the house with a 5 ton unit 2) Remove original ducting (which contained some asbetos) 3) Replace ducting 4) Add insulation in attic 5) Install 2 attic ventilated fans to eliminate mold issues and cool off attic 6) Install ultraviolet air purification system by heater They were able to get the work set up quickly here is what was done: 11/14/15 Saturday, removal of ducting was done 11/17/15 Installed ducts, cleaned vents, installed attic insulation 11/18/15 Installed heater 11/20/15 Installed air purifying system and 2 attic ventilated fans. The work was done timely, cleanly, and at a fair price. We were very impressed with the work they did. I can actually feel heat blowing through the vents now rather than simply having the house warm up. Art's crew was professional, the house was able to be used in its ordinary state during all the work. The interior of the house was never messy. I would recommend them highly. I give them 5 stars.
