The hard surface division was started 15 years ago and is now a growing concern for the company. Ziegler offers the restoration and cleaning of ceramic and porcelain tile as well as natural stones from travertine to granite even garage floors can be beautified with epoxy finishes. The results are often dramatic and amazing. Started in 1951 and celebrating 60 years in 2011. Ziegler is a family owned concern that is in its second generation of ownership. Owner Phillip Ziegler grew up in the rug and carpet cleaning business and took over operations in 1987. Founder Jerry Ziegler new the importance of education and made sure to join associations to educate him and build relationships that would help his knowledge and business grow. As learned from his father education Phillip has continued to affiliate Ziegler Preservation Cleaning Specialists with the most prominent industry associations in the industry. Phillip Ziegler is dedicated to the industry thru his service to industry associations and has served on the counsel of the "National Institute of Rug Cleaning" from 2009 to 2010. Ziegler's are active members of the "New England Institute of Restoration and Cleaning", the "Society of Cleaning and Restoration Technicians", "Restoration Industry Association" and in 2010 Phillip Ziegler helped to form the "Association of Rug Care Specialists" as a founding member and a member of its board. Phillip was also nominated and accepted the position of "Secretary" of the newly formed 'Association of Rug Care Specialists".
