Quad City Dudes Moving Company

In August of 2021, we engaged QC Dudes Moving to move a piano from our home to the home of our son and to remove an old piano from his home. In the moving process, our son’s floors in his home were damaged by the movers not handling the pianos properly. Tyler Hardy (the foreman) acknowledged the damage on the spot and took photos of the gouged wood floor and carpet. He assured us that the company was insured, and the damage would be “taken care of”. After 3 months of our requests for action and follow-up, QC Dudes sent a flooring contractor to assess the damage but there was no communication after that. After more months of follow-ups and requests for action directed to them the moving company failed to do anything. I engaged my lawyer in March of 2022, who sent a demand letter to QC Dudes and followed up again in April. There was no response at all. The movers did thousands of dollars’ worth of damage to my son’s floors and never made any attempt to apologize or make up for it. If this shows the character of a company you want to do business with, by all means use QC Dudes moving company.

Got an email say the date o needed was available a week before that date I got a call stinging they were all booked. Left me to scramble to find another moving company. I am a disabled widow with no help I can begin to.move myself it they said "sorry". Do not take this company at its word or make sure you have a back up plan
