My company specializes in staircase makeovers or upgrades in mostly occupied homes. I've been a trim carpenter for 20 years, mostly in new construction. With a passion for perfection, I decided to go out on my own about 5 years ago building custom projects. I realized quickly that many homeowners weren't getting what they paid for, meaning that there were a lot of contractors out there that were only concerned about making money and not really focused on the quality of their work performed. I have always strived for utmost quality with the will to be the best in my field and it shows in my work and in my reviews. I build to suit the homeowners taste and the style of their home. Sincerely, Jeff Griffin

Took our deposit- never completed the work. Could never get a start date, just told 'soon'. Finally in March I said I needed it by May for graduation- "No, problem" Now end of May- no stairs and no refund

After reading all of the reviews we hired jeff to replace our railings and spindles. We left a deposit in July and he said it would most likely be November before he could work on our project. When November arrived I attempted to contact Jeff via email, phone, and Facebook messenger over about ten days. No response even though I could see he had seen my messages. I finally asked for my deposit back and of course, that did not happen. I am a reasonable person and if he is busy and needs more time, that is fine we are in no hurry, but it is obvious he never intended to complete our job.

Munsell | Sep 2016 | I designed this staircase with all straight lines, giving it a nice clean, formal craftsman style. I used no landing tread, or anything with rounded edges and even straight lined the routes on the skirt boards. The stairs have custom box newels and custom white oak end-caps to match the flooring. With 12 newel posts, this staircase was a pleasure! | $7k | Overland Park, KS | |
