About Empire Heating & Air Conditioning
Empire Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. was founded in 1985 by Martin and Gila Hoover. Our main office is located in Decatur, Georgia with a satellite office in Johns Creek, Georgia. We service, install, and repair all makes and models of heating and air conditioning equipment including boilers, hydronic heating, heat pumps, and water heaters. To maintain our high standards, all of our HVAC technicians and installers are fully licensed and insured. Together, our team has more than 200 years heating and air conditioning experience. Empire's performs background checks, random drug tests and even personality profiles along with continuous customer service training to ensure you have a pleasant and worry-free experience. We are a Georgia "drug free workplace" and all senior technicians are NATE certified. We are active in the contracting community and participate with the Air Conditioning Contractors of America, Conditioned Air Association of Georgia, MAACA, ASHRAE and other professional organizations to stay on top of the issues that concern you

Our heat pump stopped pumping heat. Ken, who has worked on our systems a few times before, arrived right on time for the service appt, and greeted our yippy dogs with kindness and humor. He worked quickly & efficiently to ID the problem, checked our other system as well, and ordered the part we need for the heat pump. Ken is the best kind of person for this kind of job— knows what he’s doing and obviously enjoys meeting people (and Dogs)!
