I originally contracted Garcias Landscaping for a major project totaling $6,100. Daniel (the owner) sent his Dad to perform the work, that man fraudulently sold me Tiff Tuff bermuda and ended up laying half dead normal bermuda for a mere fraction of the cost while not telling me its normal bermuda and still charging me full price. He planted 25 double knockout rose bushes in clay with very little amendment, I paid for him to till and level the entire front yard (never done) and he didnt even remove the weeds and old grass before laying the new sod, so it grew riddled with weeds right away. This job involved a couple pallets of stonework, which still even now stands only half complete. This company spends a lot of time giving you sob stories explaining why its taking so long or why they need more money, all for what turns out to be one giant con. Daniel (the owner) convinced me that he will fix this job no matter the cost and will make it right with me (back in Apri) and he has come out approximately 1 day every 2 weeks, seemingly going backwards on this project creating more work for me every time, leaving their tools and trash all over the place, stones all over for me to trip over (I'm a disabled veteran) and several times tried to put rocks and fill dirt INSIDE my raised garden beds after I very specifically said no fill dirt is to be added to my property for any reason, plus why would you add rocks to dirt?! They had to pull up the rose bushes to replant since they were originally planted in nutritionless clay, however they didnt get to doing that until a few weeks ago, almost every rose bush is dying because when they pulled them up they dug them up with less than half of their root system so now my entire yard looks like a dump. Daniel (the owner) last week informed me that he isnt able to work on this property anymore and brought another landscaper with him (Joel) who would be taking over, however Daniel is expecting me to pay Joel after this jobs already been well over paid for and the new guy does not return calls or texts. Do not do business with this fraudulent company!
