This is not a legitimate business! If you check the Colorado Secretary of State's records, you'll see that this business was made delinquent in April 2017. (Link: https://opencorpdata.com/us-co/20151741304) This means that David is NOT LICENSED to do the work. We learned this the hard way. We hired him to pull a permit and to install an exhaust hood and fan in our commercial property. He came and did the work (which didn't look great by the way), but he kept blaming the city for not sending an inspector over to sign off on the work. We talked to the city and found out that David never pulled the permit. He's not answering our texts and phone calls. He took our money and ran. Now we have to hire a legitimate HVAC company to fix this mess David left. We're going to tell the state board what happened. This guy should not be working without a license. DO NOT HIRE HIM!

David eagerly came to my home last August and we talked quite a bit about some remodeling in the guest bath and master bedroom. He was quite effective at roping me into his ruse and I eagerly wrote a check that summer day for 25% of the estimated materials (approx $2500.00) and to secure a week's worth of work in his 'busy' schedule. The work was to commence approximately 2 weeks later, but guess what...he's a NO-SHOW! And a NO-ANSWER...I called his number more times than I can count and left endless emails. Nothing. So now I'm out 2.5K and zilch to show for it. I was naive enough to trust this guy but you can learn from my mistakes. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY!!! If I could rate him on the negative star scale, it'd be -5 stars

David, is the biggest liar and his work is terrible! This guy came out and gave us an estimate. Promised to mud the holes in the wall and he was the best. Blah, Blah, blah. His work was terrible. He tried to say he spent $35 on material. Gave us a receipt from a job 2 weeks prior. Drilled a hole down through the ceiling and said he would fix it the next day. Exposed a wire when moving a light switch. Cut the whole toooooo big. Now the light switch falls out of the hole. Said he shot down a reinforcement strip with a concrete gun. Nope, the reinforcement strip has came up. Not even glued down. Garage door no longer shuts do to a crap job on flooring install. And it's been a month. Now he no longer will return calls. I called the State and Shaul Turner. He has had numerous complaints. Hopefully Snail will do an investigation she is coming out this week to look at his crap job. I would give zero stars if I could. He is a scam artist. Stay away.

David McKinney was hired to renovate 4 areas of my home on March 1st. I was told the whole project would be completed by the 3rd week of April. It was never completed. I had several areas that were somewhat done but left with multiple issues and finish work to be completed. He said that he used different labor formats and that he would complete it, once he tore out my kitchen David McKinney soon started not returning my calls or emails. I viewed that another customer had this same issue that he would not follow up or answer for issues but it was a Christmas Light issue and I figured it was a timing issue due to Colorado does have some bad days in winter. Due to David had semi completed some of the projects he came to me and said he needed the money for the kitchen due to securing his labor so I felt it was a safe bet he would complete this project and paid him by bank check $7,850.00 and we agreed I was paid in full and he would complete by the second week of May later than quoted but due some special order items and his Labor Pool. Once that happened he just dropped out. I tried contacting him I received one message from him and I questioned why he could not complete what the other Labors he needed IE Drywall and Electrician but there were several other projects left that did not need these type of repairs that David McKinney could easily completed but when I asked he shut down and no answer was given. I called and told him I didn't want to have an issue I just wanted my money back and that due to the hostile way things were going I no longer wanted him at my home and if he chose not to refund my money that I would hire legal help. I not only lost this money I will now have to loose $20,000.00 of the home sale due to I have to take that out of the asking price to get the work completed to sell it. I also have a UHaul loaded and paying $90.00 a day due to it was semi loaded when all this took place I am also paying $600.00 a month on Rent where I was relocating to and I was suppose to leave the Second week of May so I paid rent for the Month of May and June now I have to Pay for July rent and I have not even left Colorado. This is one shit show I have never had such a bad experience and I am a single mom so I had to take my retirement out so I could live until I get this fixed. Please if you cannot help me please help all the other victims that might hire this ASS and they get stuck like me. thank you for your time.
