It was important to us to have the basement to be identical to the upper two floors and not to look like a "basement" but rather a first floor of our home. Our project is about 85% complete to date, and we couldn't be happier so far! The workmanship has been excellent. The subcontractors have been great to work with... everyone from the framers, electricians, plumbers and tile guys. We have trim, painting and final plumbing and electrical to go. They even helped us with the initial design and we are extremely pleased with how it turned out! Any issue that has come up has been handled quickly and professionally. The Basement Finishers were much less than the other quotes, so we hired them. They designed a fabulous Floor Plan that worked great for our home and started to build it near the end of October. They had it completed by Christmas and the work looks great...it matches our existing home perfectly. We highly recommend The Basement Finishers and have done so to our neighbors and friends. We had an issue in our house that we thought was connected to the electrical work being done in the basement which it turns out was unrelated; however, the Basement Finishers sent out their electricians free of charge to look into it. They have been responsive to our questions and requests for changes in a timely manner. Finally, they are on target to finish the basement project within the time frame that they stated.
