Client asked us to install a tile tub surround with a niche and mosaic strip. Installed with fully sealed GoBoard backing, liquid waterproofing membrane applied to susceptible areas, and grout sealed throughout with special additive. Another job well-done.

The client requested that we remove an old tub surround and replace it with a waterproof FlexStone product. They also had concerns about the existing wood trim around the PVC window. The FlexStone system is a paneled system that requires tight cuts, scribed at the corners, to make tight joints that can be sealed properly. Our craftsman were able to cut these panels to fit together perfectly. The existing wood window trim was removed and replaced with high-quality PVC casing that is impervious to water. An apron was added below the sloped sill to finish the look. Another well-built project, built to manufacturer's specs, and ready for years of service.

The client asked that we remodel the exterior of their office. The remodel included replacing doors and windows, replacing the siding with a HardiPlank siding, replacing the exterior trim and adding a bellyband, and adding several new windows.

The client approached us with a kitchen that another contractor had failed to finish. We finished setting cabinets, stained trim, installed a bar top and countertops, and added some finishing touches before setting the appliances. Another satisfied client.

Client requested that we install a more modern cultured stone to the exterior of their office. The stone that the client selected has a "dry stack" affect and really upgraded the outward appearance of the building. This particular stone is not installed in "blocks" or "sections", as many other cultured stone products do. Rather, it is a very labor intensive process of selecting stones that blend, contrast, and fit well with neighboring stones. Many times, the stones have to be chipped, chiseled or cut to fit well. The final product is a seamless finish that truly replicates authentic stacked stone.

The client requested that we remove an old 70's shower surround, make it larger, and add tile with a custom niche and mosaic strip. At Bartow Builders, we go to great lengths to ensure the reliability and longevity of every project -- we have a reputation to keep! In this case, there were 3 waterproof layers for redundancy. This includes a heavy PVC pan liner in the base, a plastic barrier against the framing, durock that was taped then covered with a waterproof membrane, liquid waterproof membrane applied to all areas that can be susceptible to leaks, then finally the ceramic tile that was grouted with an additive that seals the grout throughout. This is well above and beyond your typical tile shower installation, but we want to make sure our clients are satisfied and have many trouble-free years to enjoy what we build for them.
