I had excellent communication and response with this company. The work was done efficiently and cleanly.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I had a written agreement with Darcia Plater Burton who does business as HER Concrete Services, the wife's company under her husband's company Landsdown Tree Services. She came out to give me a price on my sidewalk. We agreed on a price. I questioned her about having only 3 steps on the invoice when we had discussed the need for 7-8 steps. Her written response was it doesn't matter how many steps there are because it's the same amount of concrete. THEN 1/3 of the way through digging and forming the walkway she came out to see the project and said I would have to pay $1200 MORE to have her finish the job. I said I would be sticking to our original written agreement and she walked off the job leaving me with a dangerous mess. Keep all communication in writing, take pictures and video. Do a background check. You will see many others before me that have been conned. DON'T BE THE NEXT!!!

I contracted Landsdown to help with a couple of tasks around my house. 1 - I needed to add several sidewalks to complete my house as the brick sidewalks had deteriorated over the years. Landsdown provided a reasonable quote for the work and 2 - identified that I would need to remove a couple of trees to ensure the concrete work would not deteriorate later due to root expansion. The price for both the tree removal and the concrete work that I had done was more than fair and the work was exceptional. I will tell you that the tree crew was very professional and safety was paramount. Once the large tree was removed the Stump crew ensured the roots and the stump from the tree were removed from my property so that I could landscape without issue. All in all an extremely professional team. As far as the concrete team goes, I have NEVER seen a team of professionals work so hard. These guys knew what they were doing and got it done. They reported to the worksite exactly when they said they would, cleaned up after every day, and briefed me on their progress prior to leaving the site. They were probably the most customer service-oriented team that I have had the pleasure to hire to work on my property. I have hired a few to work here. Once the concrete was poured them team went to great lengths to ensure I received the color and the stamp that I wanted. When the job was completed, I was and am still extremely happy with the work done while at my residence, their professionalism, and courtesy to me and my family and their attention to detail on every task. They definitely went above and beyond and the product, the work and the individuals who helped with this task were no less than exceptional. I would hire Landsdown again and will probably call them back to take a few more trees out. Thx Landsdown, you should be proud of your tree and concrete crews!
