I called DB Electronics October 2018 to repair my tv. He finally came out on 11/02. During the repair visit at my home, we were informed it would take about a week to have the new part in before he could come install it. He was very vague about how much it was going to cost. We had to provide a $60 deposit without knowing the final cost of the work. I waited a week and half, and had not received any calls about the status of my repair. I called, and he stated that "Oh yeah, I have that ready for you." When I asked about the price, he still didn't seem to know what he was going to charge us. I reminded him that we had already provided a deposit of $60 when he stated it was probably going total around $120. It took another week for him to have the time to come install the new part into my tv. My one week repair wasn't completed until 11/20. He arrived and installed the part, then asked for an additional $119 on top of the $60 we already provided! Now, the tv stopped working again the first week of February 2019. The website claims we are covered for 180 days on parts and labor, but that they are so confident in their work that they will cover everything for a full year. It also claims they provide friendly and prompt service. I have called and texted several times about needing this tv repaired under the warranty. Contact Dates: I called 02/14 and waited to hear back until 02/22. I sent a text of information requested on 02/25 and never heard back. I texted again on 03/17 asking if we were forgotten and got a reply on 03/18. He said he could come pick up the tv on 03/25 and I am still waiting to know when this is going to ever happen? I feel like we were completely ripped off. Our tv has been sitting on the floor unable to be used since the first week of February and it doesn't look like DB Electronics is in a hurry to satisfy us as a customer. None of my interactions have been up to my standards.
